I know what a barrier is

When I had just moved to Spain and someone asked for my name, my Dutch name, with its tongue-tying K followed by a J, always got the same answer: “¿¡Cómo?!”. I learned to shorten it to Frau. Then the question became “but isn’t Frau the German word for Mrs?”. So there you have it: I am Frau Frau. And Frau Frau translates.

What I said: Fraukje

What they heard: ¿¡Cómo?!
